Chipo- 2003 racing champion will forever go down as one of the most prolific breeders in Belgium. Benny Stevenick when owning this pigeon, did not know the impact he was going to make on the sport when he put this pigeon in the stock loft!
Chipo was awarded the Provincial Ace Middle Distance award in 2003. With many offers to buy him as a youngster, Benny decided it was a better idea to test the pigeon again as a yearling and two year old, and certainly he did not dissapoint!
It got to a point where Chipo dominated week after week. Benny could count on Chipo in all of the middle distance races. Of course, super health, nutrition and training kept the pigeon at his peak health.
After many years of dominating with the "Chipo" family line, with brothers, sisters and many descendants of Chipo scoring, one of the best sons Chipo ever bred made it's way to the United Kingdom, to a champion fancier named Stuart Wilcox.
Stuart Wilcox bought this pigeon directly off the superstar breeding pigeon "Chipo" when mated to "Champion 989" who bred both 3rd and 6th National Ace KBDB. For Stuart, this was a no brainer and a super investment on his part.
Immediately in 2011, Champion Chips bred a pigeon named "Champion Nosey" who was 5x 1st club and winning the pool in all races. An extraordinary racing stud and he even went on to breed champions as well! Inbred or crossed, these pigeons were found at the top of the sheet in any races from 200-400 miles.
Fast forwarding to 2021, Champion Chips is the father, grandfather, great grandfather to 40x 1st Federation winners in the United Kingdom. Champion Chips made his mark on middle distance pigeon racing in the UK.
