Maurice Casaert pigeons

One of the best older families to date, the Maurice Casaert/Marcel Aelbrecht pigeons are something you want to have in your breeding loft. Frank McLaughlin introduced these pigeons in the late 1990s and they have made their mark in his breeding loft and many others. 

A few notable pigeons that Frank brought in, being "The Venus Cock" father to the star Casaert breeder "Mercury". Mercury had a breeding record a mile long by the time he was two years old. He secured his spot in the McLaughlin Lofts breeding pen for years to come. Fast forward to 2021, we were very excited to add "Mercury" and two half siblings all bred from the Venus Cock to our breeding loft. Old but gold, these pigeons children and offspring will reside here for many years.

"Demi" probably one of, if not the best Casaert pigeon to come to the United States, is behind hundreds of winners around the country and beyond. Demi goes back to the base pigeon "invincible Montaubon. This bloodline is sought after by many as they get rarer and rarer as time goes on. Demi is the grandmother to the famous "Dark Hen" and is behind "The Freak". Generations down the line the Casaert pigeons have dominated the race course for decades and show no sign of stopping. 

This summer, we were fortunate enough to add (7) super pigeons to our breeding program.

McLofts 2327- "Mercury" Champion breeding stud. He has bred so many winners it is silly. He was a champion breeding stud at McLaughlin Lofts for years, and now he will finish his days out at LandingStrip Loft!

McLofts 13 956- a grandson of Demi, and a full sibling to the famous "Dark Hen". This cock was never bred and is now going to be put to good use in our breeding program, joining a super breeding full sister of the "Dark Hen"

McLofts 08 1698/1968: two full siblings, both direct off the famous breeding hen "Demi"! Banded with old bands in the winter of 2010, these pigeons bred numerous champions and will now finish out their days at LandingStrip Loft. 

McLofts 4376/4483: Two full siblings, both are grandkids of the famous "Demi". 2012 pigeons, but are  filled with vitality and are loaded with character. 

McLofts 05 5563: A daughter of Demi. Incredible daughter of the famous "Demi". She is old but gold!
