Originally I was not going to put the pair together that bred Unstoppable, but I was curious to see how the babies would turn out. The original hit pairing was 379, the father to Unstoppable mated to 19048, who was a good racing hen for me in 2019 young birds. I paired 379 to my best hen from 2019, who happened to be a full sibling to 19048, and the rest was history!
Unstoppable was a super little late bred that had everything I like in a pigeon to send out to the one loft races. Unstoppable went on to be the best racer in the 2021-2022 series at the Point Pleasant Classic Late Hatch Series, winning =1st at 125,150,175,225, and 350 miles. He was 6th at 283 miles. He only missed the drop one time out of the six races he flew.
So far the Unstoppable lines show some great promise in the breeding loft. One son was 2x =1st at 175 and 350 miles. The only daughter I kept from Unstoppable in 2022 went on to breed 35th and 38th IF Convention, =1st 175 miles PPC, and 53rd Florida Derby at 200 miles vs 4,732 pigeons.
I only bred two rounds from the pair 379 x 1360, One was Unstoppable, and the other brother went on to breed =1st at the Apple Cup winning $18,000 for my good friend in the sport Fourflights Loft.
The lines of Unstoppable go back to the very best of McLaughlin Lofts. RISB 71, great grandsire to Unstoppable was a top racing cock for McLaughlin Lofts and was retired after an amazing career. Heavily inbred to the 'Dream Couple' of Sablon. For generations, the Sablon pigeons won all over the world for McLaughlin Lofts. 71 is a great grandson to the Rhone Man and also goes back to the famous Dynamo Cock.
Children of 71 have gone on to breed winners for many lofts. A small sample of children were tested in the breeding loft for Frank and Dan, and all of them are breeding winners.
MCLOFTS 2470, great grandmother of Unstoppable, was also a superstar racing hen for McLaughlin Lofts. A tremendous racer out to 600 miles and she was retired after one of the toughest long distance series New England has seen in years. In the late spring and summer time in New England, the temperatures get up to the high 90s when the long distance races come around.
2470 also goes back to the famous Rhone Man and Dynamo cock. 2470 has gone on to be a spectacular breeder at McLaughlin Lofts. She will leave her mark as a top breeder for many years to come!
